David Beers serves Head of International Operations for Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE:CHH), one of the world's largest lodging franchisors. In this role, he ensures that market share, revenue and company objectives are achieved through the development and execution of operational

plans and programs, both short and long term, that ensures the profit growth and expansion of company products internationally.

Beers provides operational leadership to wholly owned subsidiary offices in Asia-Pacific, Central and Latin America and Europe, working with each office to develop strategies and business plans to maximize the brands value proposition and effectiveness to expand Choice's global business. He also directs Operational efforts among Master Franchise Partner offices in Scandinavia, Canada, Central America, and South America to ensure that strategies and programs are optimized to complement the company's corporate strategy and global brand value proposition.

Beginning his career with Choice Hotels in 1997, Beers joined the Canadian office as a manager of creative services, Beers quickly transitioned to the role of executive director of marketing for the Canadian portfolio. In 2002 his responsibilities increased to include oversight of the Canadian sales team. In this capacity Beers restructured the team and strategically aligned efforts to ensure initiatives were focused on driving maximum profitability. Also, during his tenure at Choice Canada, Beers successfully integrated the Canadian loyalty program into Choice's global loyalty program - Choice Privileges.

Prior to joining Choice, Beers spent several years honing his marketing and entrepreneurial skills while working with several prominent advertising agencies in Canada.
